Ave Verum by William Byrd (listen)

The haunting melodies of this work seem to lend themselves
to the Theremin.  This is a note-for-note performance of
the "Ave Verum".  In the renaissance, there was no A=440
tuning standard.  Modern scores notate this work in the key
of a-minor.  a-minor is 'ok', however, the change in timbre
when a choir sings this a half-step lower (in a-flat minor) is
magical.  However, those keys sounded overly-thick on the
Theremin.  After much trial and tribulation, I chose
c#-minor for this performance.
