| I set out to write a new Theremin work containing easy passages with dramatic leaps and other virtuoso techniques. Though the work includes some 'spaced-out' sounds, the melancholy tone suggested a struggle such as a leaf's futile battle with fall. This work was premiered on "Spellbound" on 1/22/2006. |
